Minimum Contacts, or perhaps more aptly, “the Firecracker Rule”
a flow chart from the front of my civil procedure supplement. except i made it prettier!
amount of time spent making everything look nice > amount of time actually spent studying. always.
my personal jurisdiction, subject matter jurisdiction, supplemental & removal jurisdiction, and “ascertaining the applicable law”/erie problem flow charts are also gorgeous.
i wish i had 1L friends from other schools so i could share with non-competitors! so if you’re a 1L and want a 1L non-frenemy, flow chart sharin’, tumblin’, deliriously tweetin’, kind of friend.. welp, i’m your gal.
Personal Jurisdiction, Subject Matter Jurisdiction, Supplemental Jurisdiction (formerly pendent and ancillary jurisdictions), Federal Question Jurisdiction, Venue, Diversity, Impleader, Discovery, Erie Doctrine, Counter-claims, Cross-claims, Joinder, Res Judicata, Full Faith and Credit, Fair Play and Substantial Justice, Purposeful Availment, Minimum Contacts, Stream of Commerce, Domicile, Removal, Amount in Controversy, Pleadings, Motions….oh Civil Procedure.

I have all of my extensive notes on my computer. I am contemplating handwriting all of my outlines this year. If I type them I will just end up copy and pasting things. If I write them, I will have a better change of remembering what and where it is.
I know this will be a huge time consuming process, but I was wondering what everyone things about it??
Thanks,
C. Lane Esq.
